From Fear to Fearless: Ahmed Sereta’s Transformation

When Ahmed Sereta first joined Brait Academy, he was a young man brimming with talent but held back by fear and uncertainty. Despite his strong foundation in software development, he struggled to navigate the competitive tech market. That all changed when he began his mentorship under Siloma Stephen, Brait Academy’s founder.

Through specialized training in UI/UX design and web development using WordPress and Elementor, Ahmed expanded his skill set and learned to harness the power of Content Management Systems (CMSs). His confidence grew as he mastered the tools to build dynamic, user-friendly websites and applications.

Ahmed’s turning point came when Brait Consulting, Brait Academy’s parent company entrusted him with a major project: developing a website and web app for the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), one of the country’s most prominent institutions. The success of this project catapulted Ahmed into a new realm of opportunities.

Today, Ahmed is the founder of Tarase, a thriving software development agency that has partnered with multiple organizations across various sectors. His innovative spirit led him to develop a poultry management system which empowers farmers to streamline their operations and boost productivity. He has worked with notable organizations like Jesuits Eastern Africa, Brinks Community Health, Baraka Pishori Rice Millers, Togree Sarl, Kovacic solutions among others.
